Make Money Online is reporting there’s been an update to the AdSense reporting features which now includes “advanced reporting” - I’m yet to see it from where I’m looking, so there’s no more details as yet.

Tim & Nick are pointing to a useful list of Google AdSense alternatives - I didn’t realise that there were quite so many. Whether they prove to pay as much as Google and provide as relevant ads is debateable. There is definitely room in the market for another big player though (hurry up Yahoo!!).

Comparison between Google AdSense & Yahoo ads

Jensense has posted an in-depth comparison of the relevancy of the ads served by Google AdSense and the yet-to-be-released Yahoo! Publisher Network.
She chose 5 or 6 ads currently displaying the Yahoo! ads (mainly Yahoo! employee blogs & Flickr) and compared them to those served by the Google preview tool.

New Horizontal AdSense Link Units

Google has added 4 new types of AdSense unit - horizontal link units (the type of ad that links through to more ads, rather than going directly to an advertiser). I’d spotted the notification of this when logged into my AdSense account but forgot to take a look.
