Chitika Receiving More Flack
Well, the honeymoon is well and truly over for Chitika, which is receiving yet more flack after having gone back on it’s own terms of service by delaying another audit and therefore the associated payments.
It’s difficult to know quite what the problems they are having. As JenSense points out, you’d have thought after their first auditing problems they’d have made damn sure that they sorted it out this time. Are the overwhelmed with the amount of data they have to crunch? Perhaps they have been the victims of their own success, and maybe with a bit of hindsight it would have been easier to roll out their programme more gradually.
It’s a shame really, because we were beginning to think that we might have found a viable alternative to Adsense, and the expansion allowing U.K. ads to show really got me interested.
Luckily, none of my Chitika payments have been delayed, because I’m yet to reach the payment threshold. And it still won’t stop me trying to get people to sign up for Chitika through my affiliate link
