Yahoo! Publisher Network Beta Launched
Well, it’s all over the place, but I thought I would mention that the Yahoo! Publisher Network has now launched (in beta for the moment) - there’s plenty of talk about it everywhere, but as is usually the case, Jensense has probably the most useful write up.
From what I can make out, there is nothing that really sets it apart from Google AdSense (at least in this beta stage), which is a pity. Also, not much talk about comparisons with AdSense revenue yet, but that will no doubt come.
I feel a little disappointed at the moment because I was hoping for some exciting developments in the contextual ads arena, but this appears to be more of a Google clone. Let’s hope Yahoo! have some more features up their sleeves!
