MarketingVox is pointing to an Internet Retailer report on search engine user demographics and intentions which makes for interesting reading.

A few brief points:

* Men tend to use Google more than women
* Women prefer Yahoo!, MSN etc
* Portal sites such as AOL, MSN get broader queries, Google gets more complex searches.
