Google Checkout Now Available In UK

Google has today released its payment processing system and possible PayPal killer in the U.K..

Having been available to U.S. users for a while now, Google Checkout is now a payment option for U.K, retailers, and it seems that Google will be honouring the current deal it has running in the U.S. to make all transactions free until the end of 2007.

The obvious reason for doing this is to create a base of users and to grab market share from the leader in online payments, PayPal.
