Analysing the Google AdWords Landing Page Algorithm

Jennifer Slegg of SearchEngineWatch (and, of course, Jensense) has posted a useful analysis of the new Google Adwords landing page algorithm, which has got many Google pay-per-click advertisers confused.

The confusion comes from the fact that there is little known about the algorithm, so advertisers do not know what they need to do in order to create quality landing pages that will attract clicks, whilst maintaining their conversion rates.

Luckily, this article goes some way to explaining what advertisers should be doing. And it is based on discussions Jen has had with Google’s Senior Business Product Manager, rather than just speculation.
