Finally: Some Pay-Per-Call Results

MarketingSherpa has published some long-awaited results for Pay-Per-Call marketing, although the conclusions made aren’t particularly conclusive.

The one advertiser that they feature has seen conversions of 3.3% for pay-per-call, as opposed to 0.6% for pay-per-click advertising, but the service he provides, nurse recruitment, does seem more suited to dealings over the phone.

In my very limited experience, pay-per-call has been a bit of a disappointment, although this could be as much down to the lack of testing and effort on my part as it is down to being a new marketing channel.
