Online Marketing for Beginners
Dave Child from ILoveJackDaniels.com has written a nice piece on online marketing for beginners, which is a guide to marketing websites, which as he puts it, is half how to educate a client, and half the approach to take to really make a difference.
I particularly like the point he makes about looking where, geographically, your traffic is coming from. For example, if you get a lot of traffic from the U.S., but only sell products to U.K. residents, try to identify similar websites in the U.S. which are in a similar situation with U.K. traffic, and see if you can do a deal to send traffic each others way.
