Pay-Per-Text
We’ve got Pay-Per-Click, and Pay-Per-Call, so what’s missing? Pay-Per-Text!
Miva have just launched Pay-Per-Text (PPT?) ads through the 118118 telephone directory service.
When 118118 texts a telephone number to a customer, you can now pay to advertise in that text message. You can either show ads when users request your number, or you can have your ads shown when users request numbers for complementary products or services. It’s a bit unclear whether “complementary” means that you can show your adverts when a competitors number is requested.
