U.K. Online Adspend Up 66%
If there’s any doubt as to the importance of online advertising in the U.K., then the recent figures published by the Internet Advertising Bureau should dispel those doubts.
Online adspend rose 66% in 2005, to nearly £1.5 billion, and is expected to crash through the £2 billion mark over the next 12 months. Search marketing grew by a whopping 78% in the year.
